American Pickers Kicks Off a New Chapter in South Carolina

The American Pickers team is looking for hidden treasures in South Carolina for their 2025 season.

After temporarily closing his Antique Archeology store in Tennessee, Mike Wolfe and the team are back to filming. The long-running History Channel series American Pickers is kicking off its new season in South Carolina this February.

Back in November, the Nashville location was temporarily shuttered due to construction issues. Fortunately, both the Nashville and Iowa stores remain operational and a central aspect of Mike Wolfe’s brand.

As far as their filming agenda for the 27th season, this isn’t business as usual for American Pickers. The team has made it clear they won’t be scouring flea markets, auction houses, or stores this time. Instead, they’re laser-focused on personal collections. Producers have a specific interest in extraordinary items and the extraordinary stories behind them.

Among other changes, producers are aware that fans and crew are still adjusting to the absence of Frank Fritz, who passed away in September 2024. In tribute, the series has honored his legacy with “In Memoriam” title cards and special episodes celebrating his contributions to the show.

How to Watch the Show and Get Involved

New episodes of the 26th season of American Pickers air on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on the History Channel, with streaming options available on Hulu and Amazon Prime Video. Also, South Carolina is just the first stop on their 2025 tour, with the team planning to explore other states later in the year.

Think you have what it takes to impress the Pickers? They’re especially interested in sizable collections and unique antiques that offer a glimpse into America’s past. Think: vintage advertising, one-of-a-kind Americana, or folk art. The Pickers are looking for antiques that tell a story.

If you’ve got antiques with an intriguing backstory tucked away in your attic or barn, producers are asking locals to submit photos and descriptions of their collections to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call (646) 493-2184.
